DEAR FBC FAMILY,

We wanted to get a message out to you as soon as possible with more details about what you can expect from your church over the coming weeks. DISCLAIMER: the following plan is based on the information we have as of today, (March 19) and is subject to change as our nation’s response to the Coronavirus develops. Rather than trying our best to predict the future, we want to err on the side of caution so that you can make long-range plans for your family.

In accordance with the recommendations from the CDC and our local government officials, we have decided to suspend our Sunday-morning gatherings for, at minimum, the next 8 weeks. Any and all FBC events, on-campus meetings, and services within this 8-week window will also be canceled.

That means from March 20-May 15 – we will be canceling all activities and community use of the building, including:

  • All Sunday morning worship services

  • All Wednesday evening activities – AWANA, Encounter, Bible studies

  • All community groups and Bible studies on campus

  • All campus activities and any community gatherings scheduled on our campus

  • Life Center is closed during this time period

With that said, we are committed to connecting with you digitally in the following ways every week from now through May 15.

  • Host digital Sunday morning (10 a.m.) services with worship and teaching on our website and facebook

  • Host Wednesday evening studies (6:30 p.m.) via facebook and our website

  • Post devotional thoughts from some of our fbc staff team on social media

  • Release regular ministry updates from Pastor Jeremy

  • The staff are making weekly calls to all members over 70 for prayer and encouragement

  • Sunday morning Bible study leaders are being empowered and commissioned to check on those in their classes

  • Community group leaders are being commissioned as well to connect weekly with their community groups

  • Communicate through email, social media and website regarding future plans and schedule updates

Please remember these plans are subject to change based on local and national policies, precautions, and plans. We are paying close attention to the facts of the Coronavirus situation and will shorten or lengthen our plans when determining the wisest course of action.
